Empowering Communities Through Education and Advocacy

Balarc Foundation uplifts marginalized communities since 2005, focusing on education, healthcare, and human rights, empowering women, youth, LGBTQIA+, and minorities across India’s urban and rural areas.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

Mission & Vision

Our core mission is dedicated to "reaching the unprivileged," which it pursues through an integrated approach encompassing public health, human rights advocacy, and empowerment via education and vocational skills for marginalized communities. The foundation’s work in skill development is a strategic component of its broader vision to enhance sexual health, accelerate HIV treatment, and foster a fair and secure environment for Populations at Risk (PAR). While the organization demonstrates a commitment to comprehensive support, engaging communities in participatory research to map skill gaps and design actionable, inclusive strategies, including career counseling and placement assistance, a thorough assessment of its skill-building impact is limited by the absence of specific curricula details and direct success stories. Furthermore, observed inconsistencies in publicly available financial data suggest a need for enhanced transparency to fully ascertain its current operational scale and capacity.
