Our Initiatives
Empowering communities through education, research, and advocacy programs.
Skill Building and Educational Initiatives
Supporting women through education and livelihood training initiatives.
Balarc Foundation places significant emphasis on education and skill development as a strategic pathway to empowerment. The organization's activities, as categorized by the National Industrial Classification (NIC) code 8090, are primarily related to "Other education".
The foundation implements specialized skill-building programs by Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) and curricula specifically designed for the "weaker sections of society".
These initiatives, exemplified by the "Education Empowerment" program, are designed to provide comprehensive educational resources, guiding individuals towards "modern, career-oriented education for a better future".
A central pillar of the foundation's work is the "Skill Development and Career Counselling Programme".
This program directly addresses the critical skill gap prevalent in India, particularly in light of the projected annual influx of over 12 million youth into the labor force over the next two decades.
Government analyses further highlight the need for approximately 109 million more skilled workers across 24 key sectors by 2025, a significant national challenge that Balarc aims to contribute to resolving through its targeted interventions.
Target Beneficiaries and Geographic Focus
The skill development and educational programs are strategically directed towards specific vulnerable populations. The primary beneficiaries include "weaker sections of society", "youth and women”, and explicitly, "PAR (Populations at Risk) and other marginalized communities".
HIV & Sexual Health Self-Help & Capacity Building for NGOs
Balarc Foundation supports the formation and strengthening of grassroots organizations to improve HIV-related outreach and care for vulnerable populations such as female sex workers, trans persons, and MSM.
Key Component of the program:
